Had mine done a few months ago , replacement pump from a wreck was siezed and needed most parts replaced , the shop that did it are considered good but expensive .
Cost was under $2000 .
Had the mechanic boost the old pump ages ago when upgraded turbo was fitted & got the impression it was a fairly simple job , minimal extra cost .

I do have a good working EGT gauge and I've read that before and watched a few videos, so I'm keen to give it a go, again though I just think it would probably end up better for the car if some kind of expert did it...that is if anyone really is an expert in doing this anymore.
