I suppose Graham Cooper's ones are Maxi Drive ones as well ?
Anyway, I've had Maxi tie rod/drag links since buying my truck. One of my mates was involved in engineering the Perentie when he worked for JRA back in the eighties and warned me about the crappy stock tie rod/drag link, the useless channel under the diff and how to fix them. ine was bent up pretty badly when I bought it, so the Maxi ones + axles/drive flanges were fitted before it was even registered.
FWIW, the Army ones, at least the original JRA supplied ones, were all cut and welded OE ends with heavy wall tube.

Maxi Drive ones are 32mm x 16mm hollow bar and can use County/Defender tie rod ends. If you use it on a Disco or RR, you'll need a LHT tie rod end, pt. # RTC5870.

    Zackerey same

Interestingly enough, the useless Al channel fixed to the diff still accepts the HD jobby, albeit with a tad of contact :?

So I choose to leave it in place. Wotsiz name from Maxidrive advised they don't sell many draglinks, as being much shorter, they rarely seem to bend.

I did as someone else suggested and took the new part, along with the beast off to an alignment place and had them fit it at the same time. Cost an axtra $50, if I recall, which I thought not unreasonable.

After bending 2 OEM pieces of crap, I've not had a prob since ... the Cape, Vic high country and numerous other minor forays to bush and beach.

    Cheers
