    And how many times In your life have you ever replaced a uni out in the field?

    Um never and never carry a spare and they normally cost approx $20.00 for a run of the mill H/S uni .

    It all comes down to servicing (Grease)and keeping a eye on things .

    I could not tell you how many k`s my uni`s have done im not a anal k`s watcher except for engine and drive line oil changer`s

    All the convincing I need I know what I'll be on the hunt for. Thanks heaps for the advice on it. I already have a greaseable front prop and track arm. Another 2 nipples on every service is too easy

    Ditto.

    Make sure you use either the heavy duty Hardy Spicer K5-757 or the OE HD uni, the trunnion used is 1310 Spicer size in a 1300 size uni so quite a bit stronger than an off the shelf 1300 uni.
