best thing is to give it back and let them fix it. if you fiddle you loose your warranty on the workmanship.

i dont like the spiking in the raw data and the turbo flow is out
Agree with Dave, take it back and get them to sort it.

As for the spiking Dave, it’s normal behaviour in a Nanocom log file, which is why I always filter a log file before looking at it. I’ve never seen a log file that doesn’t have some spikes.

A while back Offtrack posted an explanation of why it is so in another thread. Something to do with how the nanocom reads the data from the ecu, involving timings and error correction protocols.

    cheers

did you have a low stall converter fitted?
Yep I'm running a boost gauge. It will get to its 23 psi when i kick it down and it goes really well. But off idle the boost will rise slowly. Before i could
put the boot in off idle and with in an instant i would get full boost. Now it just creeps up slowly and blows smoke while my EGTs rise quickly. If i give
it anymore then quarter throttle from idle it will hardly go anywhere and just blow heaps of black smoke. Almost as if it is being held back a bit like a hand brake staying on when you take off.
The transfer case was taken off a D2a V8 I parted out with 155,000km on it. Was working perfectly fine before i took it out. And i think the torque
converter is a standard one. I'm thinking this might be the problem but i just don't know. I'll leave it to them to sort out.

yep , looking like torque converter / auto fault , do a stall test to confirm , you could also try taking off manually in first to see if thats better on your way to taking it back.

I'll give that a go tomorrow and see how it goes.

Certainly hope this is the case. My Nanocom is about on par with my boost gauge and only peaks at around 1.2bar. It did over boost at around 1.25 bar.

Ok i still haven't had a chance to drop it off but was told to disconnect the boost box and see if that makes a difference. It is now disconnected and runs even worse. I'm not sure if the pin is making proper contact back to the ecu as i had to take it out when connecting it to the boost box. And it was a bit bent and out of shape when i pushed it back into the ecu loom.
TEST1 is with the boost box disconnected. I could hardly get it to make any boost down low. It was very doughy and sluggish.
This was on my drive to get some fuel. When i was doing a u turn on to the other side of the road it sounded like a CV or something was making noise.
It just never ends. Or a gear box i'm not sure.

TEST2 was on my way back home with the MAF disconnected and still no boost box. Still the same....GUTLESS
As i turned into my driveway there was more noise yet again. Like a clack clack clack sound. I am very much over it at the moment.

I think i'll have to get it towed back there tomorrow. I just don't trust it.

I'm sorry to hear you are having so much trouble,
Does the engine run ok and rev alright without smoking when it's in park?
Sounds like it might have some physical mechanical issues which may or may not be related.

    Hi,
Yep it will rev smoothly at idle...A little puff of smoke but not huge like when you drive it.

    UPDATE

I had my D2 towed back to the auto place last week. After some conversation with them, they decided to take the transmission back out. They agreed with me that something was not right. And it wasn't!
The new torque converter was found to be faulty! Something about a spring not working correctly. Another one was installed and I'm happy to say it is working great again. Brand new D2 auto trans.....Need help! I'm just glad to have it back and running properly now. And I must say they were very good to deal with.
    Cheers
    Chris
