    Oil in engine harness

Guys have been having sporadic performance problems. Found hints of oil at the ECU end (red connector) of the engine wiring harness.

Has anyone had to deal with this problem and if so did they replace both the engine harness and the injector harness under cam cover.

Thinking of doing this myself - is replacing the engine harness to the ECU a nightmare??

    Any advice much appreciated.. Daz

    Hi Daz
    Its an easy job.
Remove the noise cover and remove the rocker cover.
Mine wasnt effecting the performance yet but their was oil in the plug.
I cleaned mine with carby cleaner(because I had a spare tin and it dries "dry") and compressed air.It cleaned up very well,I then sealed it up with RTV blue silicone, see the post refered to above.Pics there from Craig and myself.
