    GMAX wheels for D3

    Hey all,

Anyone have any knowledge on these rims. I have been searching for alternatives to the 18s that LR supply due to cost and this mob has a rim suitable in an 18 for my D3 ( pics attached of rims on a D3). Now just finding out what cost will be as they are a wholesaler so waiting for a list of their customers. So any thoughts would be great,

    Regards

    Stevo

Steveo they are GMAX M168 17*8" with 38mm offset and 950kg load rating.

The only concern that I would raise on these rims was the way the spokes sat proud around the wheel centre made them more subject to damage from rocks and logs. On the first outing with these wheels the rear RH coped a big scuff mark on the spokes after brushing against a large log.

Apart from that they are easier to clean than my Performance BB6 style rims and look a bit closer to the factory D3 5 spoke rim

Thanks mate for that, yes these are the same ones the M168 but in an 18 inch. Do you know roughly what he paid for the 17's??

Yeah, I was thinking the same Chris, although they look the business Stevo, and you have got to go a set of STT's or BFG Muds and then I reckon you would be a serious contender for "BEST LOOKING GCLRO RIG"
Black D3 with those rims and some nice muds would just look great. As we have discovered as well, you can go most places already with the standrad tyres, imagine how much trouble you get yourself into with some muds !!!

    Buy buy buy!!!
