    Difflocker ID

One of my boys has been offered a difflocker for his Disco 1.

Could someone identify the manufacturer from the pictures below ?

Are you able to get any more pics? Particularly the left-hand end to show how the seal housing is retained.

I'll have to get the young bloke to ask the seller.

If you can get a photo from both sides, I'm pretty familiar with the seal housing setup on the ARB as I had mine out 5 times before replacing it with the Ashcroft.

I guess the ARB copies look the same as an ARB though.

    Picture of one side below.
Young bloke recons it's cheap but the seller isn't sure what brand because it came from a vehicle he purchased with it already fitted.

Not ARB- at least not the same seal housing as the ones I have worked with. The concept looks the same as the ARB but the fixing of the seal housing is different, which makes me wonder if it is a Roberts- the original design that ARB bought the rights to and market as though they invented it. If that is the case, I believe they were a good quality unit and Australian made, but probably hard to find parts for now.

I'm guessing it could also be an ARB copy.

    Thanks,
