Where to buy bottle jack ?

    Hi Guys,

    I've just bought a 2nd hand RR.
It came without a bottle jack.
So I've been looking around for bottle jacks, new & used.

I can't find any which will support the axle (2ton plus). The regular one's have a tiny, coin-sized surface, which doesn't seem to be safe enough.

    Any hints/ideas ?

Most decent auto shops should have or be able to get one. Also try industrial tool suppliers such as Blackwoods etc.

The best bottle jack is the original...mine has recently expired. A replacement can be an isue if the dimensions aren't right

The one's from Supercrap are the one's with the tiny surface - not suitable to put it under the axle

    Hey guys,

Some places will recondition your old jack. It's hydraulic, so they replace the seals and refill the fluid if it's ok...

    Try Jack Specialists in Blackburn.

They had all sorts of quality bottle jacks.
