    Why do you ask?

    FWIW

According to RAVE the load on the front axle for a Tdi is 70kg greater than a V8 and 75 kg greater overall (EEC kerb weight) 2100 kg vs 2025kg

I wanted to bid on that engine
but got tied up doing something else & forgot about it,
by time I got back to check it was over by 5 mins
was an absolute steel at that price Good buy,

I'd have to go home & check some paperwork but my new HS2.8's come in at just under 400kg (from memory) BUT saying that I've got a 500kg engine stand and I would NEVER put a 400kg engine on it, Its one of those cheap Chinese ones and its flexes, is hard to turn and "looks" fully loaded with 100kg Subaru engine on it so get a 1000kg rated stand to be sure (they aren't that much more expensive, and may save your limbs)

A Isuzu 4bd1 weights in at 320kg. So a 300tdi would have to wiegh a little less than that.

    I was a bit off
the paperwork weight of a HS2.8 is 288kgs (300/400 whats the diff )

Still wouldn't put it on anything under a 1000kg Chinese stand
