its a straight forward job except for the little south affrican ba trd who decided to put all the hard to get to hose clamps upside down took 2hrs just to undo 4 clamps.......

oh well all good and shiny.

    Well done!

I hear you loud and clear though. I had to replace a radiator and whoever designed the lower hoses under the intercooler hose is a sadist.
    Cheers

Gidday. Look forward to hearing how much performance boost you get - is it a tdi or a TD5?

Also is that a larger intercooler or just a better flow?
    Like the pipes.

Larger area, more cooling area, and better flow performance.

    Phil...

RovaCom Pro shipped from Cyprus yesterday... Should see it this week.

I've now arranged the sole distributorship of TD5 Alive products (amongst others)... I'll let you know when the gear is here and we can make your 90 sing

I to put my new bigger intercooler from tombraider in today,,,
but had to pull it all out again as the A.C. condenser had rubbed
a hole in the radiator it had been wet for some time, but with me
moving stuff around caused it to **** out. So monday morn. off
to get it fixed then put it all back in again.
Wasnt to hard to do, as others have said lots of fiddly stuff.
But when you guys have it all out check all your hoses & A.C.
lines as a few of mine had nearly rubbed through in lots of spots.
I think they just throw the defenders together theres sh#t touching
everywhere. Ive sleeved pipes & stuck bits of rubber to area's where
I saw signs of rubbing. Hoping this will make it last for awhile yet.
Dont know why I like them so much???? stuff like this is frustrating!!!
Anyway will report back when its done,
    cheers Jeff

p.s. thanks to mike for sending it over!!

I have the bigger intercooler from bruce davis. I only recently realised how much bigger it realy is. Only problem I have is the bonnet latch catches on it. You can see the damage caused over time.

aha! so its not just my 90 that dose that!! i actually had to take it off all together. less weight=faster

Belly, your prob with hoses rubbing is just a land rover thing! it was one of the first things i did when i got mine home

I'll let you know when the gear is here and we can make your 90 sing
    far la lar

    wilbur, its a TD5.
so far it feels like the torque has improved, pulls a bit lower in the rev range.
