Timing cover finally off today

my goodness I'm all sorts of overwhelmed right now and missing my car and independence.
Its fascinating too though.
Its quite a mess under the timing cover. Haven't got any of it out yet as not really sure of the locking timing process as Google gives conflicting advice. Have the crank one in but the cam one at the top isn't in. Not sure if that means more turns?
Also there's bits of the timing tensioner that just isn't there any more. Worried its all throughout the engine



The little bolt at bottom of timing guide has no thread and isn't fastened in. How I'll never know
