    Disco 2 Drag link

My old man well and triely stuffed his drag link on the weekend, i've seen archery bows with less of a bend in them

Ok, now the questions. How much for a draglink? I think it was about the $270 mark from four wheel drives in melb. Other options? do you have to buy the whole thing with the ends, or are you able to just get the bar (only the bar is bent)?

Next part, protection. Can you get a stronger replacement bar, or is a steering guard the go? prices / manafacturers (and prices) for either?

I got mine straightened, sleeved and welded back up for $100 at the local welders.
    It's very strong now.

I think that technically it's not legal to weld any suspension or steering components.

If you want a stronger heavy duty track rod, you can buy one from Rangie Spares. They supply it with heavy duty Defender tie rod ends, so those are stronger too.

I bent two or three track rods on deeply rutted mud tracks in Toolangi and decided that I needed something stronger.
