    Tomb Raider Defender

    G'day all!
    I've got offered a Tomb Raider Defender 110, the crew cab, that is. As I am after a CC this vehicle looks interesting. It has a Td5 engine (see separate thread) and lots of extras.
    As I am not sure what the Tomb Raider specification originally includes I need some advice on this type of vehicle. So far, it looks clean, tidy and well maintained.
    Your thoughts and advice, please!

    Nothing of real consequence.

    The ones out here in Dubai and the UK have

    -a roll cage that is for show, it has the external part, but they were to tight to add the supports that run to the chassis, so in effect they are for show only to to ptotect against roll over.

    -Saftey devices roof rack

    -checker plates splashed every where, even some inside to made it louder.

    -a few changes to the interior, nothing major, just cosmetic

    -Wombraider decals on the outside



    To me they are a big sales gimic, if they were serious, they would have finished off the cage etc, personally I`d prefer the extreme, but they might hold their value better as they are a bit different, so that is a positive.

    Each to their own, if you like the wombraider look go for it, not my cuppa tea, but I would enjoy 15 minutes with a certain ladies mammeries who drove the wombraider.

    The origional one in the movies is a different story though, seem it a few times and it is sex on wheels.

    i dont think any were brought into aust?? thought there were only 250 of each (110 & 90) built all up?

    so unless your really lucky its like mine a mock up!

    The vehicle in question definitely is an original Tomb Raider Landrover.

    The Tomb Raiders sold in Australia were just mock ups.
    They were all Bonatti Grey & were fitted with a full length roof rack with 4 spot lights.
    No external roll cages out here.
