Muzza, I bought my fender last year from Southern Landrover. They dont come with any standard bar work, though they can be brought as optional extras. I must admit they do look a bit naked with out a bullbar. Id personally leave the genuine accessorys and buy aftermarket.
Dont buy a genuine tow bar if you want to fit a long range tank at a later date.
Best of luck on the purchase.

    Question

The Def 110 I am looking at getting (once I test drive it!) is a banetti Grey (spelling?) with a winch compatible bullbar, side steps, snorkel and long range fuel tank for $55000 drive away (brand new!) is this a good price?

    Cheers

sounds a little high depending on if it includes taxes. List prove for a bare defender is $48k I think. Oh, and it's Bonatti Grey

with snorkel & longrange tank + onroad costs that sounds about right.

Yes the list price is a fraction under $48,000 and has been for several years.

I,m sure some haggling will get that price down a bit

for our 03 110 Extreme aka Big Red

We paid 50k flat and got all the stock trimming and conned the dealer into

    turbo timer
    tow pack
mp3 player cd instead of the normal one
    dual battery system
    tinting
    dual band cb radio

and drove it out of the lot with a full tank of dieso.

they even threw in the 10k service for us for nix due to some minor warenty issues that we had to get fixed at the same time...

others can say what they like, but when I spec up Alex's landrover I will be going back to Tony Irleands in Townsville.. My one complaint about the place, when they laid on a loaner car it never had more than reserve fuel in it.

Bought mine new in June, list price on road then was just over $52000. Mine was optioned with ARB Deluxe Bullbar (suitable for 10000 lb winch), snorkel and heavy duty Hayman Reece Towbar. Cost me on Novated Lease from work $47000.
Just clicked over 10000 klms and is returning at least 10ltrs/ 100klms. Am very plesed with it.

Shes pushing 80K most of that towing + recovering or on 2nd/3rd class ummm "roads"

The service guys were happy with my "When you fix something can you keep the parts so I can see how they failed and show me how to fix it incase I have to later?" attitude. I guess that I quite happily forked over the readies for all the services done there helped some.

Every single thing that has been fixed by the green oval boys has been done to my complete and utter satisfaction including 3 go overs of the clutch to get it just how I like it. But now that i have to deal with the blue oval freaks :~( its been like trying to push diaoreah up a teflon wall with a fork..

and in a sort of age order oldest faults to the newest
items marked with a * are items that were fixed that we didnt know about (but were associated with an assumed failure)
    the list

    radio fell out
rear door lock fell out (still worked with central)
    flap seals
    * windshield frame seal
    aux power out let failure
    * second battery managing unit failure + second battery failure
    clutch loosing fluid
    10K km service

drivers side door seals (guys did all door seals)
    flap seals
    drivers side flap seal
drivers side flap (the drivers side flap was weak so the seal could never work)
    passanger side mirror worked loose

    (lots of time later)
this stuff was fixed by ford
doors not shutting corectly (hinge sag and lock adjustments)
    rear door seal
front flap seal (the drivers side flap was not correctly installed and had worked loose)
    clutch loosing fluid
sloppy rear seat mounts (they wanted me to pay for this but lost out as it was questioned for warrenty repair and they didnt ring me to confirm the expenditure of my $$$ for the fix)

I have the following faults I am still trying to get the blue oval freaks to fix
noisy wipers (at end of travel sounds like the inside drive bush is worn and grabbing)
rattling air con fan (the one in the passangers side foot well)
    loose external door handles
rattling from drivers and passangers door when windows are not fully closed
intermittent lumping on cold start ups
    occasional clutch stick when cold
    hard shifting when cold

Id love to get 2 weeks off so i could go back to Tonies and say "dude, bout my rover wouldya mind........" I know Itd be all smiles and "Sure Dave and here, have a loaner while we fix it for ya...." (well i hope so anyway)
