You know you can't really turn with the front locker switched on? It's for this reason most people always install the rear first as you'll get more use out of it.

you didn't have an option for both!!!

go the rear first, i use it heaps more the the front

does anybody know the reason why when arb set up twin lockers that you have to engage the rear locker before the front will engage, not that i have ever had the need to engage the front only. just thought they would wire it up so that the driver had the option of selecting the just the front or the rear.

are maxi drive diff locks set up the same??

Weeds the Maxi drive can be selected either front or rear or both. The rear is the most practical to fit first. The rear serves more use for both Assending and desending, Maxi drive come standard with hytuff axles, ARB no axle upgrade.

I did vote rear but have heard people say front is better as it helps pull you up and push you back when going down... but as said, harder to steer so need to point yourself in the right direction first

Rear, fitting a front only with an open rear diff sounds like a recipe for busting CVs which no-one really is a fan of. That and you do get more use out of it and the steering probs as mentioned previously.

Yep what he said, discowhite has the TruTrac in the front of his 90, works brilliant, he's putting a Detroit in the rear very soon

I have a Maxi drive in the rear i should went front first and then rear, but it still works well, i'll be putting a TruTrac in the front soon too
