Depends what you want the to do.

I am running Ridepro on the Rangie. They are 80series shocks on the fron and Patrol on the rear with the shockmounts extended and it gives a lot more movement.
These shocks are great off-road in the hard stuff and work well with the really soft springs I have as they are valved a little harder then normal. But I have no idea what they would be like for touring.

Currently running Bilstein and they are excellent. Was running Rancho and they are crap - not durable at all.
    Cheers

Bilstien all round on my D2 and they are excellent - a little firm on road when empty but superior vehicle control over the OME I had in before. Also just fitted a Bilstein steering dampner yetserday and amazed at the difference over the OME one I had fitted 50000k's ago - absolutely stuffed

I run OME 80 series in the front 10.5" travel and for the rear i use Pro Comp ES9000 in a 11" travel and am very happy with this set up
With the Pro Comps theres no need for pin to eye adaptors..
