We sell Ironman stuff at work, I got a spring/shock set for my Dads 87 HiLine
He is quite happy with it, handles very well on road, springs seems abit "hard" when off road, it lifts wheels easier than mine, which has lovells.
From my experience., LRA are still the choice in springs. They have dozens of combos to choose from.
Kings, OME, etc.. are too stiff for Rangies and destroy the ride that rangies are known for. If I wanted it to drive like crap I would of bought a Toyota or Niassan to start with.
Shocks, Koni or Bilsteins are the pick. The cheaper alternatives offer good value for money also if you're on a budget.
Not saying the Ironman kit is no good, I've had various types of combos and the LRA/Koni combo works a treat Need longer shocks though, a bit on the stumpy side ATM![]()
