Not that many car thieves research the history of the vehicles before they strip them for parts...when i asked him if it was for an abs car he couldn't remember but thought that his car had abs
Can't help you with a template, as i haven't bought my snorkel yet, but the difference between an ABS and non ABS snorkel is the path it takes to reach the air filter - the non ABS snorkels pass through the wing and into the air filter box right where the ABS is located. So ABS versions have to take a different path - some (most) have a longer 'arm' so they pass through the wing closer to the front of the vehicle, some relocate the air filter using brackets to move it closer to the engine and then come through the wing alongside the air filter box.
Someone will be along with a template and a holesaw soon, I'm sure.
