    Disco Air Con Lights

    Guys, I have an 03 disco with the usual split air con. Last night the light on the buttons that control this seemed to have stopped working. Well all of them except the lights on the drivers side temperature adjustment toggle which are still working.
    Has anyone had this problem and is it a simple bulb replacement issue or does it have an underlying issue thet is likely to cost be a bucket load of cash?
    If it is a bulb job some pointers on how to get to them to swap them out would also be greatly appreciated.

    Disco aircon lights too

    Yep i have that problem too. Although not as bad. My temp toggle light on the passenger side is the only one that doesn't work. Been like that since i got it. Never test drove it in the night....... Not too worried about it at the moment but interested to find out if its an easy fix ??

    Somebody,Ladas I think, put a link to the self test program for the climate control recently.
    If you cant find it thru a search(I cant seem to get my head around the search either) Im sure somebody will remember the post and point you in the right direction.
    If you have the RAVE disc(a must have) its in there,available in the "markets" section.Proceeds help Dave with the running of the site.

    In that case you have the climate control module.........you need to remove it, carefully dismantle and you will find the illuminations inside

    ..........bloody fiddly job

    ...........or just put up with it, the air con works I assume

    The illumination bulbs are part No. JWH100070

    You should be able to access these through the front by removing the buttons - (long nose pliers)

    everything works fine just not the bulbs. How do I get access? I assume I have to take out the cup holders and then hopefully it will become apparant?

    Got to be totally honest - haven't done this on the lastest (D2) Bus.....

    But from RAVE I ger the impression that you just remove the buttons with long nose pliers/tweezers - and the bulb is behind

    I'll pop out to the garage and check
