    It's all good

    At least I think so.

The Defender is back home, back to normal.

When the injectors were removed one of them was stuck open, so an injector service, some new oil, and she is running as sweetly as ever. And....the whistling noise has gone, the exhaust manifold is fine.

Just have to keep an eye on the oil to make sure there's no fuel getting in there any more.

I'm happy again, and won't be buying a Jeep!

Good to see it's all OK, Tony. I didn't realise they could service Td5 injectors.

I think that means taking them out and cleaning them.

    Yeah.

It's been a bit of a love/hate relationship this year which is why I was having a hissy fit. Blown head gasket, dead fuel pump and now this, about $3700 in repairs.
