Check the earths are all nice & clean/tight.
I know this isn't a Land Rover q, but as a number of have Falcons, maybe one you can point me in the right direction.
The missus drives a 99 Futura sedan 6 auto.
In reverse, the right hand side blinkers light up (as do the reversing lights)
In drive, or neutral, turn on the right blinker and they all work fine and the reversing lights play along too, blinking, how cute!
Any Idea where to look for a crossed wire?
Thanks guys.
Cheers, GQ

Agree with Scouse, most problems like this are caused by poor/dirty earth connections.
Have a look for a bad earth as well whilst checking the wiring. Just add another earth wire from a good clean metal area to the main rear loom earth.
Justin
Faulty earth for the right rear blinker and reversing light.

yep earth years ago i had a xf it did the same turned out to be the earth from the motor where it joins the gearbox a earth strap to the chassis![]()
As everyone else has said check the earth, usually the indicator and reverse light share a common earth so just find out which one is faulty, I'd say the hardest part would be to take all the boot lining out to get to the wiring.
Good Luck
Yup, that'd be right, the boot is full of work junk which may have knocked a wire, thanks guys! Sorry for the typos, this new keyboard is umm, 'different'.
GQ
First place I would look is in the trailer plug (assuming it has one). Failing that earths as reported.
It does, Jon, hadn't thought of that one, thanks.
6am tomorrow, you'll know where I'll be (and it wont be in my bed.....)
but not now tonite, a cat might creep into my shed (see the 'cat' thread).
cheers, GQ
