Off LR topic (sorry) auto elec question

I know this isn't a Land Rover q, but as a number of have Falcons, maybe one you can point me in the right direction.

The missus drives a 99 Futura sedan 6 auto.

In reverse, the right hand side blinkers light up (as do the reversing lights)

In drive, or neutral, turn on the right blinker and they all work fine and the reversing lights play along too, blinking, how cute!

Any Idea where to look for a crossed wire?

    Thanks guys.

    Cheers, GQ

Agree with Scouse, most problems like this are caused by poor/dirty earth connections.

    eletrics

Have a look for a bad earth as well whilst checking the wiring. Just add another earth wire from a good clean metal area to the main rear loom earth.

As everyone else has said check the earth, usually the indicator and reverse light share a common earth so just find out which one is faulty, I'd say the hardest part would be to take all the boot lining out to get to the wiring.

    Good Luck

Yup, that'd be right, the boot is full of work junk which may have knocked a wire, thanks guys! Sorry for the typos, this new keyboard is umm, 'different'.
