I just put some smaller bulbs in the extra bull bar lights, they are still bright but they trick the system into thinking they aren't there so every thing works as normal.

Nope!! Not an Earth issue... This is NormalOriginally Posted by dobbo
Without trailer attached it gives 1 flash per indicator application
With trailer attached it blinks with each flash of the indicators
Some people with ARB bars (extra indicators) who have the std ARB globes have it flashing all the time, this is solved by fitting lower (5w) globes or LED globes.
P38As don't do it as the computer will display a message on the Message Centre if a bulb is blown.Originally Posted by byron

Do you have any modified or extra repeater indicator lights? It's just a current sensitive indicator - if the 'standard' current is drawn the trailor icon only flashes once. If more than standard current is drawn when you indicate (such as would happen if you have a trailor plugged in) then the trailor icon keeps flashing. Higher wattage bulbs or extra repeaters (such as those in a bullbar) will draw more than standard current and will therefore make the icon flash too.Originally Posted by crump
