theres no way you can put 4 litres of oil in the transfer case through the filler hole. some how you must have removed the wrong bolt to fill it. the filler plug is on the back of the transfer case behind the handbrake drum. with 4 litres in it it will overflow out of the breather hose when hot, and probably past the rear seal behind the handbrake shoes. you need to find the filler/level plug and drain out the excess oil before it buggers the rear seal.
