That's why duct tape was invented - just for situations like this !!

BTW, try to hook up to the passenger side as the evaporator fan is on that side (it is on the RR anyway) & you'll get better air pressure.

get one of those el cheapo car fans , clip it on a headrest or something, and let it blow on Fido....probably help move some cold air rearward as well.

"just make sure you wear a hat or shave your head "

doesnt matter where u mount it , even overhead or rearward blowing back, all you need is circulation to get the air moving

OR......................(only let bald people sit in the fan seat)

Imho, it should be sufficient to tilt the dash vents upwards & throw the cool air over the front seats to the rear.

Cold air falls while hot air rises.
The small vents behind the cubby box imho, will not throw air high enough anyway. Far better for Bonzo to get his/her air indirectly from the front & not directly blowing on him him/her.

    I have a D1 93.

I've wondered the same as you, Byron... There's vent holes (at the rear of the centre console) in there but the aircon doesn't go that way, which is dumb.

I thought about taking it all apart and seeing what could be done, but......

just another job to do that hasn't been done....

Aircon to the rear is not standard, in a D1 93, from what I gather, so if you're feeling energetic, you could do some plumbing.

    Good luck and report.

    A/C operation

I've always thought you should set the A/C to recirculate only long enough to pull the temp down quickly. Then as soon as you can you switch the recirculate off so you are getting fresh air flowing thru the cars vent system (in the front intakes and exiting at the rear), so (1) you have air flow, (2) this will pressurise the cab somewhat keeping dust out and (3) you get less dehumidifying. Fridgys will correct me if I'm delusional.

Oh....it's plenty cold enough!.....set on maximum cooling coming out of the vents I measured it at MINUS 13oC!!!!!
