I think that there is a divverence in the size of the chassis rails, so it would fit, but it would need some modification I think.

They wont fit, the defender is side mounted bolts horizontal whilst the series is top mounted bolts vertical direction. There is one on ebay at the moment that is off a stage 1, the seller states will fit a SIII, not sure but worth a look considering its local.

Stage 1 has a SIII chassis so should bolt straight on.

5 minutes work with a hacksaw made a Defender standard bumper bar fit my Series III. Just had to notch the lower mounts a little, the vertical holes lined up.

Any one with a hack saw and a hammer could fit a fender bar to a series as the chasis is virtualy identical were they mount up ...

    Cheers

defender and series front bumpers are not directly interchangeable.. some massaging is required but they can be made to fit...

if you do it, dont do the welding yourself, they will need to be certified.
