Just adding to Uncle Ho and Ben:-
Civilian and military 6x6s are identical as far as the drive and suspension goes except for the obvious difference in width and track.
The power takeoff has a gear to engage the intermediate gear rather than the mainshaft like the normal PTO, so that it changes speed with the change from high to low. The rear-rear axle has the diff on the left not the right, and the two piece prop shaft has a centre bearing on the forward-rear axle. The PTO is engaged by a vacuum actuator the same as the diff lock unless I am mistaken.
From memory the rear axles are Rover not Salisbury. The springs, which I agree with Ben look like Series ones are set with one axle on the wider spacing like the 109, the other on the narrower like the 88, so that the springs can overlap, with a Z shaped rocking beam connecting them. Can't remember which is inside, forward or rear.
I agree with Uncle Ho that the A in LT95A reflects heavier bearings, but I am not sure which ones or how much difference there is.
