    Lube and noise

Had a busy night last night, changed the front diff pinion oil seal, dumped and replaced the oil in both diffs on the defender..

i always use "Morris Lubricants 90" in my series diffs so i used it in the defender seeing i had 25 litres laying around and bloody hell what a difference.

so much more quieter you wouldnt belive it was the same vehicle.

it had the same effect on the series ii when i first did it but i really wasnt expecting the same sort of drastic change on the newer vehicle as i didnt do the transfer and the gearbox uses different oil so didnt do it...

pity the agent for morris lubricants has moved to melbourne, they used to be on the southside of brisbane and was cheap and easy to get it ...

any of you melbourne dwellers use it ?

going to try and track down some castrol syntrans for the gearbox
as it is giving me the irrites since it has been rebuilt... was so smooth before, now it is like driving a clunky bloody pajero... tight tho....
