    Problem Fitting front Diff Assembly

    Hi

I got a second hand front diff assmebly (disk-disk) of a guy on the weekend to fit my '88 highline. Now that i have gone to fit it the control arms are to wide for it.

Has anyone had a similar problem and fixed it or do i have the wrong diff?

    Cheers

That's a new one for me. How much difference is there ?

Did the front axle assy come out of a RR ?
LRH has fitted a Disco front axle to his RR so Disco/RR should be interchangeable.

AFAIK early coillers (until about 95-96) had narrower rad arm bushes and mounts. Need to fit radius arms that match the axle.

You mean 85 ben?? you need early classic arms, pre 85 to make use of the narrow bush, you'll probably also notice the drain plug hangs down to
