Why do all the good LRs end up in car yards

I'm on the hunt for a top condition Disco II TD5 SE7......seems all the yards have snatched them up. I don't think I could ever bring myself to buy from a car yard just knowing that what ever you buy, it will be overpriced.

So where do they source them from.....I can go straight there

People upgrading and trading them in, or LR dealers offloading them.
What are you looking for, and what are you looking to pay. I know of a few around Bris.

Offer a price about 1/2 of what the asking price is... you may be surprised what happens... happened for me, once, at a dealer.

Asking price was $15,000... drove it away for just $10,500... car worked brilliantly for seven years for me and the current owner (2 years) still loves it...

Must be TD5 auto, 7 seats, and neat neat neat. Low k's. 03 or 04 model only. Tow pack. Not a huge fan of leather as it does not take well to fishing hooks but I can always cover the seats. Must be carpeted. I would also like ACE but only because I have heard such great things about it. Never actually driven a rig with ACE. I prefer a 'never been off-road'. An SE7 would be ideal. I dont want to spend over 37k.
