I fitted the expanison tank sensor in my Defender. It was very easy but I did put mine a little to high so it is easy to set it off.
I was a little concerned about drilling the hole but found once I decided to just do it there was no dramas.
The idea of getting one of these engine saver alarms from the site is there is no drilling except a 4.5 mm hole in your dash for the light
The rest is easy and it also helps one of the sponsers of the site that gives you a discounted price for being a member

    Its win win win alaround

Yea I bought the little black box from the site adds. I was very happy with the price and the unit works a treat. Mine had the float that you do drill into the side of the tank. Next up on the wish list is a digital readout for the temps as I am paranoid after the rebuild.

I fitted mine on the weekend, the only drama was bringing myself to cut 17mm out of the frightfully expensive top radiator hose. No problems fitting and a well designed product.
My compliments on the excellent service from www.enginesaver.com.au as well.

    Regards,
    Tote
