I figured as much. However someone on here posted up a pic of their low coolant alarm light that they had put into the cluster. I haven't been able to find it so was hoping they would see this instead.
When the odometer died in my 1982 VH Commodore I managed to get it apart and glue the gear onto the shaft that was spinning on the shaft instead of turning it. Was hoping it was going to be sommething easy like that.
