Mods? It's a Landrover they don't need mods, people mod them cause they can. It's a set of 2nd hand BFG muddies I got off CAL415 when he upgraded tyres. No mods at this stage, just a cut down standard front bumper and a few repairs.
Lol... I think you have far too much faith in the abilities of a stock Land Rover Dobbo.
I will disagree with you about not requiring mods. You dont need to go overboard with modifications, but a moderately tweaked D2 will always go further than a stocker with muddies...
And why did you cut down the bumper?

because it got cracked the first trip I took it out on. I have a spare but they sit too low and limit approach angles. You are right about mild mods, perhaps I'll fit a bullbar one day.Quote:

I have seen both CAL415's, stevo's and Slunnies cars in action. I know what a lifted D2 can do. For my duel purpose vehicle a 2inch lift has the potential to sever the allready fragile relationship I hold with my insurance company, raise my towball by a further 2 inches rendering it unbalanced with the horse float and makes it hit the roof on the local underground carpark. New Bilsteins shocks and King springs are in the pipeline, however I don't know about a raise.Quote:
