Angus
so its not to bad then
Pretty sure thats whats on my Disco now.
The guy I bought the car off fitted it 5k ago.
Rides well, be for me the coils are too stiff but my car is stock ie no bar / winch /dual batteries.
That will have an affect.
Looks lifted at ~2inches.
I will be replacing it for 3inch springs soon and shocks soon.
Cheers
Dave.
Are Iron man Springs progressive or Linear ?
Linear on mine - if thats what the kit is
They are orange.
Gidday steve,
my experience with ironman on my 130 was not all good, the guy had a look at the rig a suggested the top of the range shocks as I was worried about the body roll so I got 4 new shocks, fitted the back two then took it straight back to himto which he agreed they were not as good as the original stockys so gave me the money back and suggested bilsteins which I did and am very happy
![]()
how much are the bilstiens
$483 for the two rear, but they did take out most of the body roll and wev'e just come back from around oz, 37,000 kms and across the top from east to west on corrigated roads and there still as good as new.
Unfortunately you do get what you pay for, and the bilsteins are rebuildable.
Scotty
My 2 cents...
18 months on my 130, given them a pounding, couldn't be happier so far![]()
