my 'fender has a harmonic vibration right on 100km/h in fifth, 80km/h in fourth (dunno rev's) which has been reduced since my clutch change where I had the flywheel and cover balanced and lagged the exhaust from the turbo dump to the back of the gearbox.
It became apparent when I installed the 3" exhaust over 12 months ago, so I'm putting it down to a harmonic that's been amplified by the big pipe. (no flex joint either)
There has also been an annoying, intermittent 'buzz' in the firewall area that I finally collared the other night. It was a combination of the glowplug timer/relay not quite tight enough on the firewall (needed a slightly bigger screw) and the cable ties holding the harness behind it loose and working together. It made it feel like the whole car was shaking.
