    I live on the edge and enjoy computer control in my Disco. Its the modern reality BTW, in limp mode you can still drive it - its just stuck in 3rd gear.

    Limp Home Mode

    So how far can you drive a car on limp home mode?

    and does it do any damage???

    A. Home

    B. No... Only risk is warming of the transmission by it locking in 3rd, making the TorqConv work harder to get off the line.
    Other then that it will go as far as you need to.
