    200TDi Starter

    Anyone know what size the 3 bolts are that hold the starter motor on for a 200TDi Defender???

    Also, what brand is in the Defenders? Bosch? Nippondenso????



    Is it a nightmare?

    I realise YES that the exhaust has be removed (upper section) and the wombat bar.

    Pretty sure the bolt is a M10, from memory a 17mm nut.

    I think the replacement is a Bosch

    Valeo D9R is the original one supplied. The replacement as mentioned earlier is a Bosch. You can get a Prestolite one for 85GBP, $199.95 which is a bit cheaper but I'm unsure of shipping from Paddocks.
