Well I guess size is a moot point if they are charging that much for them then obviously they only want to sell new ones.

Shame at the right price I would buy them.

Oops I should have said that was for the chunky mongrel tyre.
    The MT might be cheaper?

Has anyone bought the mongrel tyres in another state?
Maybe we are getting stung for shipping in WA.

i haven't seen them in the NT but then again I have been out of the tyre scene for a while, might have to have a look around and check prices on all of them.

But before I go the next step and buy new tyres the following is going to happen: a 2" body lift, those rubber flares talked about on a post here abouts, and off set rims. Then the tyres. may even go those slower ratio crown wheel and pinion mentioned in here some where (never did work out if slower ratio was higher or lower)

will try to get this done before the next wet coz in the dry nothing is a challenge even with AT's

No problem with balance, they were on the Discovery for two & a bit years, now on the 80" with plenty of tread left.

I emailed procomp today about thier tyres again.
They replied that they only deal wholsale to WA through OL in Balcatta.
Anyhow I called OL and asked about the cost of MT's (I asked about mongrel before) the cost is $213 each for a 31x10.5R15 !

What are they thinking who would by a remould for $213 when a new tyre can cost less, (depending on brand).
Has anyone paid much less then $200 in other states I suspect they are

inflating the price so you buy new tyres at a better profit for them.

Yeah they should fit. If they are the mongrels you might get some rubbing due to the chuncky lugs. You can fit up a 32 inch (265/75/r16) no worries and have heard of people fitting up to 33 inch JT2's (which are actually a large diameter - around 34 inch I think).

Check out this site for tyre conversions - http://www.autisticcuckoo.net/tools/units/tyres.php
