I know a few people who have bought new manifolds straight from ISUZU for $300-350. There are 5-6 options though (2 different turbos and 3 different mount locations).

rar110 also mentioned that Zenith make them even cheaper.

Factory turbo was a garrett t25 (withouit wastegate) or an IHI (forget model number off the top of my head).

The 4BD1 T25 is very similar to the T25 from a nissan C18DET. There are a few places that sell new T25s for about $1100. Some people have also suggested using a GT28RS (disco potato - ball bearing), but I don't know anyone who has actually tried it.

The IHI turbo from a WRX is also about the right size.

G'day All, What's wrong with being slow my old 110 Isuzu will still the legal speed limits, but before you rush out and spend big bucks on a turbo, I would get some opinions of some of the more knowledgeable people here, mine has 450,000k's and I think a turbo would possibly damage the motor, but I'm 58 and know not much about it anyway I'm sure you will get the correct jibes here, cheers Dennis
See whilst I was posting Isuzurover has done it for you.

N/A diesels are a waste......so much to be had from turbo charging a diesel without losses in economy or longevity if done properly

Standard manifolds comeeither with an IHI flange of a T25/T28 flange.

I have a part number for a T25 centre mount manifold - will dig it out...

EDIT: #8943662470 should be a front or middle exit which takes a T25 turbo.

    Some good info here:

Glad I didn't drive it home from brissy, Man they're cramped, will have to try and do a few subtle things to improve, already stuck on a sports wheel, need to try lift the seat, and a few mods to gain an inch or 2 back............always wanted an extra inch or 2

The LT95 needs to be pulled, Something is rather noisy with the clutch out, and leaks everywhere, Better watch that good LT95 itting around

Oh, it really doesn't like the 35's, but I figured that either I buy another set of tyres, or just make it turn them, **** it dont use any fuel
