Why would you want to do that?
Seriously... Do you have any reasoning behind this?
should have put filtered water instead of distilled I try not to use tap water but this depends on the area you live in,one mine site I worked at ended up having buy the premixed coolant as the water out of the taps caused to many problems in the cooling systems.
I put the water you can buy from the super market in the cooling system that usaully has been filtered to get rid of heavy elements

THE VEHICLE IS CHECKED IN FOR A SERVICE AND THEY ARE GOING TO TRY AND FIND A COOLANT LEAK. THEY SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THE COOLANT AS WELL WITH GLYCOL. I WENT TO THE LOACAL LAND ROVER DEALER TO BUY SOME OF THE OAT AND THEY SAID THEY REPLACE IT WITH GLYCOL AS WELL. SO I AM A BIT CONFUSED NOW.
Nulon OAT Coolant is the easiest OAT to find I discovered. Many shops do not stock it at all. Do not be mistaken by colour either as there are non OAT red coloured coolants.
Failing that Ford supply an OAT coolant as well.
Glycol can destroy aluminium over time.

My understanding is that the OAT coolants are all around 95% Ethylene Glycol, the OAT part is the long life(organic acid technology) corrossion inhibitors that are added.

I'm sure I saw the extended long life Caltex coolant at the local Caltex service station? Am I wrong? Is it really that hard to find? I would have thought any Caltex Service station could get it if they don't actually have it in the service station?
