I bought one several years ago, and had it on the starting battery for a long time.
The battery is now 4+ years old. I took the megapulse off about 9 months ago.( my regulator was playing up and I thought the megapulse may have contributed).

Recently my voltmeter was giving funny readings ( fluctuating 13.7 up to 13.9) and the morning voltage was only 11.6-11.8. I saw that the 2 centre cells were down a bit on water and looked different to the other cells .I put the megapulse back on, and now the charge readings are up to 14.2 -14.3 and morning voltage up to 12.1-12.3 or so with ignition on..

I can only guess that the centre cells being down was from sulphation and the megapulse cleaned it up.
The battery is obviously dying but may last another couple of months, or to the next long trip.
    It still starts well.

    megapulse

    Definitely worked for me.
My friend has it atm it also fixed has two cars as well.
The best way to tell I feel it to leave the mega pulse on the battery overnight without charging or using the battery.
Test the Ph the first day then check it again.
My battery had increased Ph overnight. Now if it improves while sitting idle that says it works to me.
One battery that would not charge onto above the white area now reads in the green on the hydrometer.
Small price to pay if it make one battery last longer.

mine has one which was fitted by the previous owner, since i have owned it i have had to replaced both batteries, in saying that i had no idea of the age of the batteries, but i'm still not convinced that they actually work....i also have eprs fitted but still have rust

now that i have a solar panel fitted i was thinking of removing it as the regulator for the solar panel goes into float charge which i think????'does a similar job to the megspulse

There is quite a bit of scientific evidence (not by megapulse)to support the mega pulse method of operation.
A quick google search should show.

Oh Dont plug them onto a battery with an ECU attached to it that you value...

I haven’t had anything to do with Magapulse but the CSIRO had a paper out on this sort of thing but it was primarily intended for batteries in agricultural use more so the automotive use and was used on batteries left for months between charges.

Their conclusion was that there was an improvement in the battery’s storage capacity when the pulsing device was used.

Sorry it not much help for what you are intending.

    Cheers.
