CAV injection pump from a 2.5L UK Landy fit my 2.25D series diesel?
My injection pump is worn and one of the unions leaks fuel. This would be a good potential fix...but will it fit and work correctly??

The pump pictured looks to be the type that drives from the back of the front timing cover, where yours drives from the centre of the block, same position that the 2.25 petrol distributor drives from, Regards Frank.

G'day All, Apart from the obvious differences (piping) I would suggest that it is the same pump, I would be asking the seller for a part number off the pump and check those against your current pump, if it is compatible use the piping off yours, postage will be the killer from the UK though anyway it is only a suggestion the ball is in your corner cheers Dennis

Dinty, the front shaft of the pump pictured is tapered and has a locknut and a keyway, it is designed to work off a Sprocket which attaches to the shaft which is driven by the timing chain on the front of the motor, the 2.25 pump runs off a gear on the camshaft, the same as the petrol dissy, Regards Frank.
