    willvine, did you have a note in the box of your rear shocks to remove the top cup on your discos lower shocker mount?

    Came off pretty easy, but I don't have any paint for the bare metal. Will kill rust epoxy it I think.

    you must have a D1 Mine is a D2. the D2 is eye to eye.

    All done. sits about 40mm higher in the front and 35mm higher at the rear. Not bad for a grab bag of random springs

    I'm considering some polyurethane spacers for the rear to get it up another 10mm. Or maybe poly-airbags instead?

    Took Diablo for a spin after to check it out and warm up the auto so I could check the oil level (did an oil and filter change yesterday too). Noticeably firmer, possible a touch too firm for my needs (Koni's set to minimum)

    But the vibe from the back at highway speeds is gone, so I don't expect these tyres to scallop on the inside edge like the last set.

    The front shocks that came out were monroe gas shocks that were the same length as the konis. Return speed was a fair bit faster on these but still dampening and gased up. So I'll keep these as spares, just in case.
