I guess my main gripe is that LR didn't make it a greasable joint.

there is a tail shaft mob in Nrth melb that rebuild any tailshaft.. that where i got the new one done in Camila..
Fred Smith knows them, he recommended them ... they do the Army's work.... No they dont shoot people, they do the Army's Tail shafts...

mine doesnt. i'm unsure if this is because of the extra torque the 4BD1 produces, or a fix done by someone before me who was either sick of buying double cardons, or couldnt get their hands on one.

i had a photo of it somewhere, but cannot find it now. it's as simple as dirt. a plate that bolts to the front output shaft with four tapped holes in the appropriate pattern to accept the uni joint. no vibration worries at all. ten leaves under each corner mean flex is not of the degree to affect it.
