    Recieved my clutch master cylinder the other day. This one seemed to have a fork on the end rather than the normal screw thread on the shaft. Grrrr. Anyway, 4WD's reckon the shaft can be swapped over, so we've got the new master cylinder assy but the old shaft which goes onto the piston. Something to watch out for, and I'll see how it goes.

    Apologies for the thanks - I meant to press the quote button

    Just get them to send the correct Master. My stage has the screw & nut type. It in fact was the PRB brand.

    On the slave there are definately two types of shafts which are interchangeable but that doesn't count in this case.

    I think you're right. I'm a bit over adapting stuff at this stage to be honest.

    You have a Rover V8 with LT95 in a Series II running LandCruiser axle assemblies and you are a bit over adapting stuff???

    Perhaps its the insatiable desire to modify that I'm over.

    I got into it today and just adapted the thing across. Popping a circlip was easier than waiting for each way delivery.

    Mind you, it looks like they'll all have to be done this way now, so they tell me.
