    Disco shocks

Ok, you parts experts, Uncle excepted.

    Another stupid question.

Are the rear shocks on a Disco ( ser 1 late model) the same as the shocks on a late model series.
I think I can get some good priced ones!

(and no matt I am not going to take parts off it before you pick it up)

What do you mean by late model series, late model series what, defender/county or late model series disco, as in Disco 2

If you mean D2 no they won't, don't know about older series vehicle, but they are leafs so the shocks maybe different (ie) too short a travel.

I'm pretty certain the shock mounts are differnt on the series vehicles too. As Baz says I would imagine they'd be shorter plush the rating will be different due to the inbuilt resistance in a leaf spring.

If you mean late model Series one a disco compared to early series one disco, I'm pretty sure they are both the same.

    Ta muchly

so ,much for my great plan, just did the fronts,

pin and pin and wouldn;t undo, thankfully the angle qrinder worked. L/R production line must had been strong that day.

just looked at the rear, didn;t even notice the botton a pin,
only noticed the eye on top.

    back to plan b.
