You would think so.......switch the whole thing off and you still get warm air coming through the vents

    What good is that!
Actually there isn't an off button on the D2, well mine doesn't have one, turn it too econ mode and turn the fan off.

I'm pretty sure all climate control aircon systems are the same, i don't think you can actually turn them off and have it like a normal open vent for outside air coming in, to get cool outside air coming in, the climate control has to be on and the recycle and fan off.

Mine does it. I run the AC for five minutes to cool the pipes down, then it seems to be OK.

    My D1 did it too.

Mine does, one of the 4 buttons underneath the display, the others being econ, demist, and outside temperature.

Yep mine has an "off" button...I'll try the cold, turn off, econ method and see what happens!

But still seems a pretty silly system...

it almost sounds like the next step is to do all this with your tongue hanging out the
    left side of your mouth.......

with one foot raised off the floor......or something like that........

methinks all you disco drivers are going soft.........
i can just imagine you guys driving a fender.......
you only get cold air on your knees......and your left leg burns from rubbing against the hot handbrake lever......

PLUS.......i also have the whinging from SWMBO........(AKA....passenger side windbag......)

    Great tip,
    works a treat,

    Thanks

I find if you set the temp to LO,run the aircon for a few mins then switch to econ it seems to cure the problem.YEP can be annoying!!!!
You guys try it because at times I wonder if its my imagination.Dont forget my D2 is black so gets warmer than a white one!!!
