    Does anyone know the thread size on the oil sender on a 200 tdi

    Hey Adam,

    Genuine only( or aftermarket, but LR specific) for these senders, as they are not a BSP type tapered thread. I can't give you a thread size, but if it is the sender you are replacing, then ordinary oil lamp senders etc won't fit, LR ones are different.

    I once saw a split open oil pump housing on a RR because someone wound a BSP type thread 'cheaper' sender unit into it.

    Measure the o/d of the screw thread with a vernier caliper and use a screw pitch gauge to find the pitch.
