    We use Repco TE3 as well. The only problem is they don't seem to last as long as the originals.

    The part no. I believe is actually TE4.

    Precisely, I'm on my second supercheap splitter, the first broke from someone trying to split without the bashing, this one, the thread is getting a little sad, but still work, haven't been able to find anywhere that sells a quality one yet but

    Tapered ones work for removal and replace, but ai'n real flash if you want to reuse the tie rod end and IF the boots were good, they wont be when your finished

    There about the good ones but they come at a price of around 150 bucks ABW make a good one so do kinchrome

    why bother new ends are cheap as **** not worth replaceing the boot un less the joints almost new

    You can get various sized "pickle forks" to fit an air chisel. These work.
