New member Tacho questions
Hi To all the landrover nuts out there,
I have just bought my self a Landrover Defender 110 1999 TD5, Had it for a week and ill drive it at any when i get the chance.
I have been reading forum for a week or 2 now and it's great to see how much info is on this site..
Any way the reason for my post is i want to put a tacho in the defender, In place of the clock, Just did a quick search and found this link,
Defender TD5 Tachometer Installation
Can you source these tacho's in australia?
Do you need to "boost" the signal from the ECU? or is there enough grunt to drive the tacho.
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
I swapped gauge positions when fitting the Tacho and put it next to the speedo. Easier when looking at the two together.
Only an extra couple of minutes and now its directly through the steering wheel.
